TW Steel is proud to announce a new collaboration with Holden to celebrate the purpose built 1996 VR Commodore that, in the hands of the legendary Craig Lowndes achieved a raft of victories including the Sandown 500 and Bathurst 1000, as well as claiming the 1996 Australian Touring Car Championship.
This unique timepiece features a 48mm, 316L steel case with stainless steel bezel and screwed crown. It’s powered by a state-of-the-art Miyota movement and sports a luxurious, hardened mineral crystal with sapphire coating. The dial is emblazoned with the iconic number 1 and the case back proudly features race stats and the Holden logo of the era. The strap is genuine dark navy leather with white stitching, in keeping with the ‘96 VR Commodore’s colours, and is finished off with a steel clasp.
With only 350 numbered timepieces produced, this is truly a collectors item for racing enthusiasts.
