The Holden FB featured more elaborate styling than ever before. Taking cues from its American cousins - the mid to late 1950s Chevrolets - the FB had a wraparound windscreen, sloping rear glass, big finned tail light clusters, hooded headlight surrounds, a lower bonnet line and finned rear guards. The Holden FB was also the first model to produce left hand drive export versions.
