Released in 1958 to a booming market, the Holden FC Series proved to be a great sales success. Featuring a bold and brassy appearance, with touches of American inspired chrome, they sported new ornamentation, freshened interior and mechanical improvements which improved driveability. A total of seven variants were released simultaneously. During this era, Holden reached a production run of 500,000 vehicles and exported its 10,000th vehicle.
